Rahul Sharma

I recently graduated from Penn State with Master's in Data Analytics. Here, I have undertaken various courses in Data Science and Machine Learning domain, ranging from Applied Statistics, Predictive Analytics, and Deep Learning to Large-scale Data Warehouse Design and Data Mining. In addition to that, I am working as a Graduate Research Assistant under the guidance of Dr. Youakim Badr. My research is primarily based on identifying and mitigating social biases in machine learning models.

Before joining Penn State, I was an Analyst at Citigroup, where I was responsible for understanding complex requirements from the clients and translating them into innovative and creative solutions using analytical tools and Agile software development.

I graduated from IIT Bombay with B.Tech in Chemical Engineering in 2017. At IIT Bombay, I was involved with Innovation Cell, a student-organized robotics lab, where I worked on several projects including Autonomous Quadcopter, Unmanned-vehicles and Object-detection. I also served as the General Secretary of Chemical Engineering Association.
